So after being completely dry, including all night, for quite some time now (many, many months), Wally has wet the bed on all but one night for the last 2 weeks. It’s getting rather tiresome and I’m sick of washing the sheets. (his urine also stinks to high heaven for some reason.) I got the diapers back out this morning around 4:00 after waking up in yet another puddle.
I wish I knew what was going on, as I’m running very very low on patience.
The child is whiny all the time, seems unable to do simple tasks on his own (crying Mommy and pointing down at the floor at some trinket he’s dropped, for example), is unable or unwilling to control his behavior most of the time. Combine that with his lack of verbal skills making two-way communication nearly impossible and I am extremely frustrated with him lately. Someone suggested today maybe he’s got other food allergy issues, perhaps to wheat or gluten.

You started working, yes? I’m sure Wally has taken notice, especially as he seems to be a very smart child.
When I went back to work for awhile, my seven month old baby went on a hunger strike (talk about frustrating, and lack of verbal communication!). I took her to the doctor, who said… any changes in your household lately? Oh boy. Seems the hunger strike was a plea for mom-time.
I know you cannot quit, but Wally is going to put in his bid for you to do so…
It started before I started working. He’s been a major pill lately, but it all started at least a week before I started my new job.
Could your son be going through a growth spurt? my daughter behaves similarly sometimes for a week or two at a time and i always notice after wards that she has grown or has learnt a load of new words. Also if his urine smells bad he may have a slight urine infection, that can make kids want to wee a lot and be grumpy.
