I was at work for a large part of the day today. Wally was actually asleep when I left and apparently awoke very sad. When I got home he predictably wanted to nurse for a while. After a few minutes, he pulled away, looked down at my breasts kind of dreamily, gave them each a kiss and a hug, then with a very contented smile, he just rested his cheek on one and patted the other.

That’s so cute!
Bella will sometimes look down at mine and say…”Come ‘mere nursies…I love you”. Then she hugs them and is all happy.
That’s adorable! My son is having a hard time focusing on nursing (he’s 4 months old)…he’s always pulling off, looking around, smiling or cooing at me, than on he goes again.
By the way, I LOVE your site…its great inspiration for me. I am wondering about starting solids (I’m thinking ahead, I’m not planning on starting him until AT LEAST 6 months or later)…what did you start with?
We didn’t do solids until he was nearly 1. We did avocado for the first food, then moved on to cooked cereals and grains (oatmeal, quinona, cousous, etc), then some veggies, then some fruits. Actually, yogurt was in there shortly after the avocado, but he was allergic.
And thanks so much for the compliment. Nice to know there are people who actually read all this junk!
