Link. I thought it was a good story, all things considered. Not sure about the “Superkids” thing though.

Wet Bed
Posted in Elimination Communication on October 18, 2006 | 3 Comments »
So after being completely dry, including all night, for quite some time now (many, many months), Wally has wet the bed on all but one night for the last 2 weeks. It’s getting rather tiresome and I’m sick of washing the sheets. (his urine also stinks to high heaven for some reason.) I got the [...]

What I’m doing: Trying to sew. I’m on the last 2 dozen diapers of a large wholesale order, then I can start sewing for instock. That’s a pile of 12 medium fitteds there, waiting to be sewn together. It’s hard to sew when my allergies are so bad, and I’m not sure why.
What I’m drinking; [...]
Elimination Communication - is it molestation?

Well, yes, I know that those of you who know what EC is all about are laughing right now, saying “what on earth?”

I don’t actually count those things as accidents, since they are not his fault but are [...]

Or, at least, conventional in the modern years in many developed nations…
On a website where I post, there was a discussion about potty training recently. A mom wrote about her four year old who, since the mom stopped really pushing her daughter to go on the potty, had largely reverted to peeing in her diaper. She [...]
Newsweek and Elimination Communication

The gals at Diaper Free Baby were afraid this would be sensationalized, and, alas, it is, but it’s interesting nonetheless. Gotta love the final statement, the old stand-by of EC naysayers - “It’s training the parents, not the child.” Yep, just like when Wally trained me to feed him when he was hungry, or comfort [...]
Elimination Communication

I had read about EC when pregnant and decided that, while I wanted to give it a try, that I was not the type of person this would work out very well for. And I was right.
We did it part time starting when Wally was maybe 4-5 months. I caught a few pees on the [...]
