But seriously. Reading. He has to sound out many words. He doesn’t seem to remember words from one sentence to the next. (So if he sounded out Rid on one page, he’ll sound it out again on the next one.) I’m realizing that we need to do some drilling of sight words to help out a bit so he can recognize “the,” “is,” “it,” etc. without having to think them through.
