The 5000 Year Leap

I finished this book last week. It took me far longer than it should have, but I can’t read nonfiction if I’m being interrupted – so that means I couldn’t read it if the kids were awake/around.

It was a great book and I highly, highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about the Founders, the founding of our country, etc. It wasn’t written with a conservative bent, which is a false accusation I’ve heard a lot, probably stemming from the fact that Glenn Beck recommends it. It is, rather, written from the perspective of an author who holds the Constitution and those who wrote it in very high esteem.
