The Hunger Games series

I read the entire Hunger Games series over the course of 5 days or so in the hospital with Teddy in February. They were good books. You know, i tend to go for the teenage or YA books because they don’t require as much mental input from me, but these might have been a bit TOO far over to that side. That said, they were nearly perfect for the exhausted mental state I was in. Nothing was too hard to remember. The characters had names that weren’t easily confused. The times I couldn’t remember who someone was, it was so easy to figure it out from context.

The books were pretty predictable. Towards the end of the last one, it seemed like even the author realized it was predictable, because she started leaving out the names of people conversing, to add suspense.

But I will probably want to see the movie when it comes out.
